In an interview released today, podcaster Tucker Carlson recounted urging President Donald Trump to avoid war against Iran. Trump reportedly acknowledged his concerns but responded with the phrase: “We all die anyway.”
Carlson stated that Trump’s repeated threats of nuclear annihilation against Iran should have prompted immediate removal from office. The former president has vowed to “annihilate” Iran and send it to “hell,” including in a recent United Nations address where he declared, “Will a deal be made with Iran that lets them rebuild… Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic?”
Carlson also noted Trump’s past threats of starvation: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,” he posted online.
During discussions with Trump after an interview with U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee— who claimed Israel had the right to seize parts of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Syria—Carlson told the president, “Your representative to this nation just called for rearranging the Middle East…”
Carlson explained that the conflict was driven by Israeli objectives to eliminate Iran as a regional power and weaken the Gulf Cooperation Council. “I told him this to his face in the Oval Office days before the war began,” he said.
The former president’s response to these warnings was deeply troubling: “We all die anyway.” Carlson emphasized that Trump should have been removed immediately for threatening nuclear attacks.
