Trump Vows Military Action Against Colombia and Greenland Following Venezuela Raid

President Trump announced on Air Force One that he plans to target Colombian President Gustavo Petro for alleged cocaine trafficking and warned Cuba would fall without U.S. intervention, following the detention of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro in New York.

In remarks with GOP Senator Lindsey Graham at his side, Trump accused Petro of supplying cocaine to the United States, stating, “He’s not going to be doing it very long.” He also declared Cuba “has no income” due to its reliance on Venezuelan oil and suggested Greenland might become an American territory as part of a broader strategy.

Petro countered by calling Trump a coward and emphasizing his administration’s efforts to combat cocaine production through large-scale seizures and crop substitution programs. U.S. forces are reportedly alleged to have killed 32 Cubans who provided security for Maduro during the raid.

Denmark, which governs Greenland, has criticized Trump’s remarks as “unacceptable pressure,” warning that such actions could threaten NATO stability.
