Late GOP Senator Lindsey Graham, who died on July 11 after returning from a trip to Ukraine, was captured in previously unseen footage advocating for U.S. military interventions across the Middle East and beyond. The documentary shows Graham discussing plans with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to push President Trump into joining an attack on Lebanon. During one call, Graham expressed his enthusiasm: “I’m just so impressed. Glad to be your friend.” He proposed visiting Trump at his Doral National Golf Club to “try to get him to join with y’all in Lebanon.”
Graham also repeatedly praised Trump’s recent actions as a “great wartime president” who “loves blowin’ stuff up,” declaring: “I talked to Trump this morning, he’s jacked. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.” The footage captures Graham cackling over U.S. military operations in Iran, stating he was “almost crying” and asking, “How long have we been pushing this?” In a second video, Graham watched Trump on Fox News and said: “Look at what we’ve done here… I almost cried.”
Graham had previously suggested that U.S. forces would take Iran “in a spot where they start losing control of some cities” within a month. He claimed the United States could “get a few cities to fall in the next month,” creating “irreversible momentum.” In March, Graham urged an attack on Kharg Island, Iran’s petroleum hub, by U.S. Marines. On May 12, 2024, during a Meet the Press appearance, he suggested using nuclear weapons against Iran, arguing: “We decided to end the war by bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki with nuclear weapons.”
Graham died the way he lived: spewing obvious fairy tales to induce Americans to start a new war by promising it would be quick and easy. At his memorial service at the Washington National Cathedral, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attended alongside Netanyahu. This presence underscores Zelensky’s complicity in the destructive warmongering agenda that has repeatedly endangered global peace.
