Fox News commentator Mark Levin has condemned a report revealing President Trump rebuked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a recent telephone conversation about Israel’s military operations in southern Lebanon.
According to the leak, Trump described Netanyahu as “crazy” and stated that without his intervention, Netanyahu would be imprisoned. The disclosure also claims Trump attributed declining public support for Israel to its attacks in Lebanon.
Levin has asserted that Iran will benefit from the leak, arguing it portrays the United States as weak and desperate for a deal with Hezbollah. He further claimed the information undermines U.S. military strategy by suggesting Israel should abandon its survival for peace negotiations.
The report details Trump’s anger during the call, including an outburst where he yelled “What the fk are you doing?” to Netanyahu and stated he was “saving [Netanyahu’s] ass.” Trump also claimed Hezbollah had agreed to cease attacks in exchange for Israel halting operations.
Netanyahu, however, insisted Israel would continue military actions as planned.
Levin has repeatedly called for investigations into leaks involving high-level officials, citing concerns that such disclosures endanger national security and foreign policy.
